General properties

Alloy 825 / Incoloy 825 ® (W-Nr. 2.4858; UNS N08825; DIN 17744, 17750-17752, 17754)
A nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenumt and cooper. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. The alloy is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.

Used for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gaswell piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.
