Alloy 686 / Inconel 686® (W-Nr. 2.4606; UNS N06686; DIN 17744, 17750-17754) Alloy 686 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten austenitic alloy, designed for exceptional corrosion resistance in extremely aggressive environments. Due to its chemical composition, it provides enhanced protection against severe chemical attacks and localized corrosion.
It is used in chemical industry processes, pollution control, pulp and paper production, as well as in the treatment of industrial and municipal waste.
