General Characteristics

Alloy 800 / Incoloy 800® (W-Nr. 1.4876; UNS N08800; DIN 17470) Alloy 800 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with high rupture strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. It also offers good corrosion resistance in aqueous environments and maintains a stable austenitic structure even after prolonged exposure to extreme heat.
Applications include:

  • Pipe processing, due to its thermal and mechanical stability
  • Heat exchangers, where high-temperature resistance is required
  • Carburizing equipment used in the metallurgical industry
  • Heater element sheathing, thanks to its oxidation resistance
  • Steam generator tubing in the nuclear industry, where durability and corrosion resistance are essential

Incoloy 800 is a reliable material for applications requiring high-temperature stability, corrosion resistance, and structural durability.
