General Characteristics

Alloy 90 / Nimonic 90® (W-Nr. 2.4632/2.4969; UNS N07090) Alloy 90 is a precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy, offering excellent stress and rupture resistance at temperatures up to 1700°F (920°C).
In addition to its high mechanical strength, this alloy provides good resistance to corrosion and oxidation under extreme temperature conditions.

It is used in:

  • Blades and discs for gas turbines
  • Cutting tools and dies for high-temperature applications
  • Springs subjected to high mechanical stress

Thanks to its exceptional properties, Alloy 90 is used in applications where thermal resistance and structural stability are essential.
