Super Duplex F55 / UNS 32760 / W-Nr. 1.4501
Super Duplex from alloy F55 (UNS S32760 and W-Nr. 1.4501 have a very good corrosion resistance especially in salt see water and in other Chlorides environments.
F55 Have a better resistance than ordinary stainless steel
F55 standard NACE MR 01 75 used for pressure vessels.
The most typical applications are in chemical industry and equipments, helix, pumps, shafts, screws, and fastening elements for marine applications and oil and gas applications, valve in paper industry and depuration of used water.
F55 (UNS 32760) it is delivered normally annealed. For cold environments we can supply material which can satisfy the grade of FLT ( impact Charpy tested at -101 ° C) F55 or grade FG (impact Charpy tested at -46 ° C).
